Dear David, Roger, Arnold and Ben, Icebird and I made it thro yesterday, and are fit and well though finished last 13 miles of Maidstone v late.. Yet it was vv special.. Friendly people in Hollingbourne.... 

Pilgrim's Way felt as if it was 500 years back in time again among the spirits of the footsore but peaceful pilgrims who once walked thishistoric route. After dark, seems mysterious, and fun to hear the owls and the half asleep horses in the fields.. 

Thanks to magnificent Geoff Hall in Maidstone at 11pm to drive my car with Icebird for me to Dartford, and kind local people -- I am here today in time for marathon no 10!!!!!
