  1. Words cannot express how inspirational Rosie is -meeting her yesterday at the Cardiff Marathon was an absolute honour and a privilege. My friend, Winnie Giannotti and I had intended to run up to an hour (Winnie's longest run previously was 3.5 miles and mine 9 miles). When Rosie asked us to try to complete the full marathon how could I say no - after all she had completed one the day before and had another 25 ahead of her! I had planned to run a marathon but not until next year and now we are so proud that we can say we completed my first marathon and Winnie her first half marathon with Rosie. The very, very best of luck (not that you will need it) on the next stages of your journey and we will be there at Tenby to welcome you home - your pink ladies from Cardiff. I would urge any runners, of any ability, to spare some time to keep Rosie company on her epic challenge - you will be truly inspired.
